Place your computer to ground level is not as innocent as it looks. A PC located at the ground level is exposed to various environmental threats and negatively affects its performance. As Engadget is highlighted in the last guide, if you can not put your computer on your table, you should take at least some measures.

The main problems faced by computers at the ground level:

-Toz and pollution accumulation: The above air is more clean than 30 centimeters from the ground; the density of dust at ground level is much higher, and the fan filters quickly click. -: Hot air rise; circulation at ground level is worse and the processor heat increases. -Nem and water damage risk: Distilled liquid and ground humidity easily reach the vital components of the computer. -: Your risk of foot dropping and crash increases; the cable becomes more likely to be installed.

  • Ses problems: PCs near the ground can be noisy due to vibration.

If the table area is limited, at least place your computer on a highened platform or shelf. Leave at least 15-20 centimeters distance with ground. You can use a perforated stand under the computer to improve air flow. It is critical to checking and clean your fan filters regularly.

In short, a bit more height and maintenance can significantly extend the life of your PC. A simple step will protect you from serious problems.
