Technology enthusiasts have been engaged in a question for years: Are we covered Bluetooth to improve Wi-Fi speed? Engadget’s new research questions this common bias and shows that the majority of using these two technologies in our devices are less problematic.

Basic findings are as follows:

  • Although Bluetooth and Wi-Fi work on the same 2.4GHz frequency band, modern devices use software optimizations to manage these conflicts
  • A significant decline in Wi-Fi speed in real world tests was not observed
  • 5 GHz and 6 GHz with Wi-Fi bands, the effect is almost close to zero
  • Even on old devices, Bluetooth has not been encountered to the relationship that has noticed Tags
  • No need to worry about the user.* Modern operating systems and routers are extremely effective in frequency management. Even on your old devices, Bluetooth and Wi-Fi will provide a stable connection to use at the same time. If your Internet speed is slow, you will be more efficient to check signal strength, router location or ISP problems instead of looking for Bluetooth.

As a result, you can leave your habit of closing Bluetooth, save battery life.
