Claude can now create editable documents and presentations
Anthropic expands the capabilities of Claude AI assistant, offering users the features of document, slide presentation and collaboration directly in the chat interface. These new features turn Claude into a productive business tool by simply removing Claude from a chat boat.
New Cowork capabilities include:
- Creating and customize editable documents directly in Claude chat
- Preparation of PowerPoint style slideshows
- Working with team members with real-time cooperation features
- Instant editing and development of generated content
- Provide priority access to Pro and Max subscribers
Rollout process is first focused on Claude’s premium user segments. Pro and Max subscribers are planned to expand these features to other users in the next stages, which can be accessed early.
This move is a direct response to the creation capacity of the webbing that OpenAI offers with GPT-4. Anthropic positions Claude as a platform that provides an integrated and efficient working environment. Especially Cowork feature seems to facilitate the collaboration of remote and hybrid working teams.
Improved Claude is no longer just an assistant that responds to questions, but it starts to serve as a aid that can produce real-time content and collaborate.
