GitHub redesigned one of the most frequently used parts of the software development platform. New dashboard experience has now become active as default for all users. This change aims to enable developers to manage their workflow more efficiently.

  • Dashboard design reviewed with a modern and intuitive interface
  • Project management, warehouse tracking and cooperation features become accessible from a central point
  • Thanks to customizable widgets, users can edit the appearance according to their workflows
  • Performance improvements increased page loading speed
  • The old dashboard structure is still accessible but new experience is now the leading option

The new dashboard allows developers to see the most important information at a glance. Quick access menu, recent projects, open pull requests and tasks to be done easily. This central view reduces the need for developers to switch to multiple tabs.

GitHub stated that these updates are shaped in line with the feedback of the community. The platform aims to continuously improve the experience of developers.
