While artificial intelligence-based audio and video production technologies develop rapidly, security assessment also reveals new challenges. Traditional methods focus on determining threats in a single input source, multi-mode systems offer a very different risk structure. New research released in ArXiv brings a comprehensive solution to this problem.

** The benchmark called Multi2AV-Safety** addresses the basic issues:

  • Ability to create potentially harmful output when undamaged texts, images or audio parts combine
  • Interactions between different fashions in time can create new threats
  • No complex hazards in multi-mode scenarios as available safety tests are intended for single mode inputs

Research examines how text prompt, visual elements, audio and video source can produce problematic results by combining. This approach provides a more compatible security assessment with the use of artificial intelligence systems in the real world. In particular, content creation is a critical step for production models used in educational and entertainment platforms.

This benchmark is expected to be a basic reference point for more secure design of future multimodal systems.
