While LG retains its leading position in OLED technology for many years, there is a transformation in a new train in 2026. RGB LED technology is now in the portfolio of products from almost all major manufacturers, and LG is not back from this current. The new 75 inch Micro RGB evo MRGB95B model of the company displays what this technology can offer.

The main features of the new model are:

  • Bright and vivid image: RGB LED technology can reach higher brightness levels compared to OLED, and color rendering is quite impressive. -75 inch screen size: The model located in the premium segment offers wide viewing experience. -3.600 dollar price point: RGB LED TV, positioned with upper middle segment pricing, provides accessibility. -High reflective problem: The surface of the panel like mirror can negatively affect the image quality in ambient light environments.

Although the advantages of RGB LED technology are clear, the tested model of LG is not a complete solution. Especially in bright rooms the high reflectivity of the panel is telephoning black levels and causing contrast loss. OLED displays are still in the superior position in this regard.

The change in the market looks important but every technology stands out with its own strong sides. RGB LED can be ideal for environments requiring high brightness, users looking for cinematic and contrast image can continue OLED preference. This new step of LG increases technological diversity in TV market.
