A New Method for Robotic Manipulation: OGPO Model Teaching Scratch from Exit Way

Vision-language-action (VLA) models have made significant improvements in recent years in the field of robotic manipulation. However, new methods are needed to improve the educational process of these models. In order to overcome the limitations of learning paradigm, researchers developed a new approach called OGPO (Offline Goal-conditioned Policy Optimization).
The basic problems of existing methods are as follows:
- Trajektori level audited imitation leads robots to imitate exactly the same of their expert views
- Limits the flexibility of policies by prejudice towards the ways of action specific to the views
- Provides limited guidance during return to task progress
- Robot learning remains insufficient in terms of error recovery and adaptive behavior learning
OGPO model realizes target-coached policy optimization in offline environments. This approach allows robots to learn not only successful steps, but also the strategies of getting rid of incorrect situations. Thus, models become more durable and flexible.
The new method has the potential to improve the performance of robots in real world applications by offering more realistic and adaptable behavior learning possibilities in the robotic.
