Sony Introduced PlayStation Pulse Headphones with Planar Magnetic Technology
Sony officially introduced PlayStation Pulse and Pulse Edge headsets prepared to re-identify gaming experience. Both models include planar magnetic drive technology, which promises to provide more open, detailed and high quality audio compared to traditional dynamic drives.
Although Planar magnetic technology is used for years in the audio industry, it is a first to implement it on this scale in the PlayStation ecosystem. Sony states that these drivers will significantly improve the gaming, music and movie monitoring experience. The main differences are:
