Smart devices now listen to each word, no option

Technology companies turn into one personal surveillance tool with new features that integrate into wearable devices. Users now have to live with devices that record every word they say in their daily lives, monitor their movements and analyze endings. So can you disable these “smart” features? Answer sad: Most often no.
Apple’s continuous listening feature added to new Apple Watch models faced with legal problems and privacy concerns:
- Apple Watch is now able to listen to every word that is said and create a summary of the activities in your surroundings
- Meta’s smart glasses collect visual and auditory data similarly
- Technology experts published alerts on legal and ethical risks of these features
- Users are worth making opt-out literally from these surveillance tools Tags
- Each new device is marketed with the ability to collect more aggressive data
This is why it does not arise. While companies market these technologies under the name of security and convenience, the actual purpose behind is to collect data from user behaviors and preferences. Even if consumers are shown as preferred in this technology ecosystem that develops speed, they remain in reality very limited control. Privacy settings were complex, opt-out mechanisms were hidden and the device functionality has been dependent on these features.
Our digital life in the near future is seen to continue exposure to an ongoing observation without our explicit consent. As long as this problem is not resolved, technology users will be in a field that does not protect themselves.
