A new cornerstone appeared in artificial intelligence research: Dalek is a agent machine that can manage and improve itself. This indoor system architecture redefined the autonomy of artificial agents and expands the limits of its self-leveling capabilities.

The basic features of Dalek include:

  • Modular architect built on three primitive structures stone (actors, messages and channels) Home
  • Self-repairing, self- evolution, self-reproduction and self-organization capacities Home
  • Flexible platform support that can work on any compatible infrastructure
  • Four basic obligations defined limits: host censorship, construction language, admissible transitions and roulette heredity

This structure is inspired by the theory of Von Neumann’s self-healing machines, adapted to modern artificial intelligence requirements. Dalek’s closed system design allows agents to change their own codes and dynamically gain new features.

The study shows that artificial agents can experience an evolution process that goes beyond just to fulfill tasks, to improve their own structure. This development opens new possibilities to design and scale autonomous systems. Dalek architecture can create the basis of future agent-based applications.
