Mobile AI Agents Move Faster: Deeplink Technology Revolutionize Navigation

Artificial intelligence agents on mobile devices have been limited to GUI operations: clicks, scrolls and text entries. But this traditional method requires long and time space navigation arrays to achieve a target screen. The researchers offer a new approach to solve this problem.

The main features of the new method are:

• Deeplink Integration: shortcut links that can skip directly to certain pages within applications can change multiple clicks with one call
• Hibrit Interaction Model: Deeplinks for quick navigation, GUI operations are used as other actions on the screen and backup option
• Static Analysis Method: Agents can automatically explore potential deeplinks by scanning the application code -Highly Compatible Design: The system can adapt to special structures of different mobile applications

This hybrid approach significantly increases the efficiency of mobile agents. Using a single deeplink call instead of a set of screen steps, both the process speed and the possibility of errors. At the same time, the system can turn back to traditional GUI actions when deeplink is not possible, which provides flexibility.

This study published in arXiv represents an important step in the mobile automation field. In the future mobile agents are using this type of shortcuts, more complex tasks can be completed in a short time.
