When training agen that performs terminal tasks in the field of artificial intelligence is increasingly popular, researchers reveal the weakest ring of the process. A new study released on arXiv explains that the Docker images and test packs can fail even end-to-end training pipeline even if ready.

The researchers examined the pipelines that produce tasks and correctors using frontier models such as Claude Opus as meta-agens. Despite this structure, the problems encountered are divided into three categories:

  • Benchmark invalidity: Where the created task sets represent real world scenarios sufficiently
  • Test environment fragility: Harness components provide unconsistent results in certain conditions
  • Ödül alignment problem: The reward signals used in the Agen training do not conflict with the targeted behavior

Research suggests improvements in prompt design to detect and solve these problems. Practical implementation of the findings can significantly improve the training efficiency of the terminal frames. Especially in areas where automation is critical, it is important to minimize such data verification and production errors.
