One of the most effective ways to improve the performance of large language models (LLM) is to give more thinking time during the outbreak. But most of the available methods are sabit token budgets or working on strict restrictions such as predefined difficulty forecasts. A new arXiv research, the real world agentic of this approach Shows that AI systems are not enough.

On the basis of the problem lies:

  • Today’s methods distinguish the same amount of calculation resources regardless of the difficulty level of task
  • Most approaches are tested on isolated intelligence tasks, it is worth in full agencyic workflows Tags
  • Fixed source allocation leads to inefficient in simple tasks, insufficient in complex tasks
  • Activation-area interventions and pre-calculated predictions are flexible in real scenarios

The research team advances that LLMs need to dynamically determine how much “fall” of each task. This will enable the agentic AI systems to react in accordance with complexity and binding. Extreme thinking (overtinking) resources lead to invasion, missing thinking (underthinking) and quality output withdrawal problems.

This study represents an important step to make future AI agents more efficient and reliable. This adaptable approach can change in industrial applications where complex, multi-stage tasks need to be solved.
