Can Artificial Intelligence Psychologist? PsyCIDRA Double Agent System Convert Clinical Interviews

Although large language models have been increasingly used in medical field, their ability to carry complex interactive assessments such as psychiatric interview is not yet fully researched. A new research study offers a dual agent system called PsyCIDRA, a building stone to fill this gap.
Basic features of PsyCIDRA:
- The interview agent uses tools to keep working notes, upload skills sets prepared by specialist writers and get ICD-11 diagnostic references
- Free form psychiatric interviews are carried out with cooperation of two agents, and then diagnostic reasoning is performed
- The system was designed to be reviewed by specialist doctors Tags
- Enables time saving by automate the interactive evaluation process
The system shows that artificial intelligence can manage real-time hospital calls and diagnostic processes by passing only information in the clinical environment. The interview agent continues a dynamic chat and evaluates the diagnostic agent based on ICD-11 standards with collected data.
This research is an important step in the development of artificial intelligence-supported medical applications and leads to a potential way in the solution of access to mental health services. However, before going to clinical practice, large-scale verification works will be done.
